There is immense pressure in society these days to accept degeneracy.

I don’t have to explain anything here. You know pretty well what I mean; alcohol, drugs, promiscuity, tobacco, reckless hedonism, blah blah blah.

Apparently, to BE a part of this ‘new and improved’ society, we are supposed surrender every last bit of morality and common-sense at the alter of degeneracy.

Furthermore, IF you dare rebel against this nonsense, you can get ostracized and ridiculed for being ‘archaic’ and ‘backward’.

Yeah right.

I’d rather be someone with sanity and values than a drunk degenerate loser.

And if people don’t like me because I refuse to be like the retards trying to ‘fit in’, well, that’s their problem.

I’ll chose loneliness over a drug addict or a drunk any day.

Society used to be one of values and morals at one point of time.

These days, strange winds are blowing in, bringing values that are utterly despicable in every way imaginable.

And to top it all off, we have this degeneracy being popularized through movies and other forms of mass entertainment! What should be wholesome programming is today filled to the brim with garbage and filth from top to bottom. If you don’t believe me, just see the way drugs, sex and alcohol are depicted. I can guarantee you that they’ll NEVER be shown in a negative light in MOST cases.

These trends don’t seem to be going away any time soon. It will probably be a long time before society returns to sanity again.

I had my own issues with this at one point of my life.

I never boozed, smoked or had any other such bad habits. I was ‘clean’ as far as my habits were concerned.

But that wasn’t the case when it came to my friends. While most were sane and ‘clean’ as far as my knowledge goes, there were others who were real degenerates.

Most of them kept their habits to themselves, but others tried to make me get involved as much as they could.

While they never tried to physically force me into it, they did try to use tactics like,

“Try just once…”

“Nothing will happen if you do it just once…”

“You won’t die if you try once!”

“Don’t be a party pooper…just mingle!”

“Blah blah blah…”

…Well, you get the general idea.

These people tried as much as possible to get me involved in their degeneracy. My staunch refusal was probably something they didn’t like; I guess they were too used to corrupting people with ease, whenever they got the chance.

I am sure that even you would have encountered similar situations in you life.

If not, don’t worry. It won’t be long before these moments come knocking at your doorstep. And when it does, you better be ready because otherwise, you’ll succumb to it just like every other person hooked onto bad habits.

When these situations DO arrive…

There will be enormous pressure and temptation to say “Yes!”. In addition, you will also be getting encouragement and social approval from those around you.

This is something that I can guarantee.

Just make sure to use your willpower.

Instead of mindlessly doing what others tell you to do, use your own judgement. Understand the consequences of your actions as opposed to being an idiotic conformist.

I should add here that I am not the most saintly of people.

I do not claim to be all-perfect and devoid of sin, as some like to put it.

In other words,

  • Yes, I have tried cigarettes.
  • Yes, I have drank beer.
  • Yes, I tried alcohol….Never liked it by way.
  • Yes, I have blah blah blah…

In other words, I’m just a normal human being and as imperfect as anyone else.

And I don’t expect anyone else to be that way either.

In all,

The point I’m ultimately making here is not about what is moral or what isn’t.

It’s not about that at all.

Nor am I trying to dictate your life and tell you what you should be doing.

On the contrary, it’s about making informed decisions in your life regarding degenerate behavior, instead of giving in to peer pressure.

Let society follow whatever it wants. Just know that you DON’T have to go along with it.

GOOD LUCK! 🙂
